Affordable Housing Advisory Committee

The Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC) reviews and recommends changes to the local government’s policies, procedures, ordinances, land development regulations, and comprehensive plans.

Board of Adjustment

The Board of Adjustment hears conditional use requests and variance request for applicants seeking relief from the performance standards of the code, such as, but not limited to, setbacks, lot dimensions, ground clearance and building/sign heights.

Charter Review Advisory Commission

The Charter Review Commission conducts a comprehensive study of any or all phases of County government, including those of the Constitutional Officers, to determine if there should be changes to the Osceola County Home Rule Charter.

Code Enforcement and Nuisance Abatement Board

The Code Enforcement Board holds the power to enforce regulations, issue lawful orders, and ensure compliance with Florida Statutes Chapters 162 and 893.

Community Development Block Grant Citizens Advisory Task Force

The CDBG Task Force increases public awareness of the function of the Community Development Block Grant Program and the types of assistance available to low- and moderate-income residents.

Housing Finance Authority

The Housing Finance Authority was created for the purpose of alleviating a shortage of housing and providing capital for investment in housing in Osceola County.

Library Advisory Board

The Library Advisory Board assists the Board of County Commissioners by providing citizen input and advice on various aspects of the Osceola County Library system.

Planning Commission

The Planning Commission acts as the "local planning agency" and is primarily responsible for Osceola County’s comprehensive planning program.

Tourist Development Council

The Tourist Development Council makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners for the effective operational uses of the tourist development tax revenue.
