Community Rating System

As a participant of the Community Rating System (CRS), a part of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) - Osceola County, Florida is dedicated to helping its community reduce flood risk.

The CRS system provides a mechanism for reducing flood insurance premiums to reflect what a community does beyond the NFIP’s minimum requirements. The CRS is a voluntary incentive program that rewards community actions that reduce flood risk through discounted flood insurance rates.

Owners of insurable buildings/structures located in a FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) mapped flood zone will be eligible for up to 25 percent discount off insurance policy premiums through the NFIP.
