Local Health Council of Central Florida

Purpose

The Local Health Council of Central Florida provides effective health planning for the area and promotes development of health services, manpower, and facilities which meet identified health needs in a cost-effective manner, reduce inefficiencies, and implement the area health plan.

Appointments and Qualifications

The one (1) Council representative from Osceola County must be a resident and either a purchaser or provider of health services.

Term Limits

Two years

Meeting Frequency, Time and Location

Meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of every other month in the conference room at 5931 Brick Court, Winter Park, FL 32792.

Citizens are welcome to apply at any time, however applications are only considered when there is a vacancy.
