Boggy and Shingle Creeks Debris Removal
Osceola County is launching a project to remove debris from Boggy Creek and Shingle Creek. This effort aims to address blockages and potential hazards caused by leftover materials from past hurricanes and storms. Specifically, the project will target displaced vegetation blocking the natural flow of the creeks, compromised trees and other vegetation that could become hazardous, and any additional trash and debris present in the creeks. The project is scheduled to begin in late March 2024 and should be completed by the end of July or early August 2024. Funding for this project is from USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.
