This 1,689-acre park is a joint park project between the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and, Osceola and Orange Counties.  Managed by FWC, in cooperation with the counties, the park offers a wide variety of habitats and wildlife viewing opportunities where you may spot Sherman’s fox squirrel, deer, turkey, sand hill cranes, swallow-tailed kites, and Gopher tortoise.  Natural communities include scrub, hammocks, pine flatwoods, marshes and swamps. The Osceola and Orange County line bisects the park.

The park topography is generally flat, and offers numerous trails (North and South Loop Trails) for hiking, nature photography, and bird watching.

Access to the park can be made at Clapp-Simms-Duda Road on the parks western boundary or from the northeast through Orange County’s Moss Park. Both locations provide parking.

Water, picnicking and camping are available at adjoining Moss Park in Orange County.
