Interactive Flood Map and Evacuation Tips

Please memorize the website MySafety.osceola.org - it will come in very handy if you are looking for information on emergency situations such as hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding or any type of disaster, whether it is natural or man-made. In this video, Emergency Management Operations Manager, Richard Halquist provides information on a new interactive evacuation map, now available on the website.

The map lists potential flood zones, rally points, and access control points which would be used in case of an evacuation. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with this map. Use the search feature to type in your address and find out now whether you are in a flood evacuation zone. Also, always pay attention to any announcements made regarding the County's emergency procedures during times of disaster, do what is necessary to keep yourself and your family safe at all times.
